Postural Assessment

Postural Assessment

Pain and injury plague some of us on an ongoing basis. The worst part for many is not understanding why they are in pain. The idea that for some unfathomable reason they just hurt, and this is now life as they know it for the foreseeable future can be daunting. Fear of the unknown is a very disempowering thing.

This experience is something that is addressed directly during this service. The Postural Assessment is as much an educational experience as it is a process for determining how your body operates. Sevrin, walks you through what he finds as you go and helps you understand how simple habits/ postural dysfunctions have affected your work, actiity, and everyday life. By demystifying the pain and injuries that a person experiences they are re-empowered when they realize that there is nothing complicated or insurmountable on the path to their recovery.

Postural Assessment

Once completed the Assessment will provide Sevrin a comprehensive understanding of all discrepancies between what is the ideal and what is your
actual posture, gait, various range of motions, motor patterns, core function and breathing pattern.

From this wealth of information, Sevrin will create a customized exercise program that will be your guide to the quickest path from where you are to where you should or want to be. Essentially a functional whole-body exercise program versus one that just targets specific areas of interest.

For anyone from serious athletes, clients with a variety of issues, to those who wish to take the quickest, most efficient path toward their goals of complete
functionality, a Postural Assessment is highly recommended.
