Individual Training
Individual Training
Individual Training occurs in a dedicated one on one setting. That is, Clients will receive Sevrin’s or one of his associates’ undivided attention for their entire session. Having someone with you as you learn and practice your new exercises increases confidence in your having learned the exercises correctly and helps bring to your attention to any unconscious coping or unintentional recruitment that you may be doing. This experience can be further enhanced with instructional videos of your customized exercise program.
During your intake session, Sevrin will explore what your goals are and, if applicable, what if any issues you believe you may need to have addressed. He will then undertake a series of targeted assessments of how your musculoskeletal system is loading: posture, breathing, support, stability and movement.
Sevrin will then design a personalized exercise program that will take you from where you are to where you want to be.
Sevrin strives to make the experience memorable and personal. He often devises creative and tailored cues or visualizations to help a client both understand and remember how to engage their bodies correctly. Clients are also taught the underlying stability principles so that they may be incorporated into their personal life, expediting their reconditioning. Proper ergonomics for home, play, and work postures are often reviewed.
Clients are encouraged to keep their Trainer updated as to the difficulty of their exercises as it is important to be appropriately challenged and stimulated to move efficiently towards their goals.
